Training Opportunities

In a continuous effort to provide our colleagues with the highest level of service, South Carolina Student Loan is proud to offer training and professional development opportunities to colleges and universities across the state.

South Carolina Student Loan's In-House Training Program

We designed the in-house training series to provide colleagues the opportunity to learn or simply revisit important subject matter in a relaxed, yet professional manner. By keeping the number of people in each session low (usually between 6 and 10), instructors are able to provide attendees with a personalized, one-on-one approach.

Please share upcoming in-house training dates with the staff and colleagues at your institution!

Please register early. All attendees are asked to be on time.

Each session starts promptly at 10 a.m.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

School staff who work with financial aid programs may attend. This includes:

  • Financial Aid Administrators
  • Business Officers
  • Registrars

South Carolina Student Loan's Annual Workshop

In addition to our In-House Training series, South Carolina Student Loan also provides professional development and training opportunites during our Annual Workshop.  The workshop is designed for all higher education institutions, regardless of whether your school has a working relationship with SC Student Loan. Our goal is to provide a professional development opportunity where attendees learn about important higher education topics in a relaxed, yet professional manner.

Our 2008 Workshop was held on March 3rd at the Brookland Banquet and Convention Center in West Columbia.  We look forward to planning our 2009 Workshop for our colleagues in the colleges and universities across the state.  Please direct any questions, comments, or suggestions for session topics for future workshops to Darlene Lindler.
