Common Manual

South Carolina Student Loan is proud to offer you access to the Electronic Common Manual (ECM), in addition to the  Integrated Common Manual (if you prefer to see all changes and updates integrated into the manual).

Common Manual updates are provided by SCSL to assist your institution in staying up to date on changes made to the Common Manual since its last printing. Changes to the manual are approved by the Common Manual Governing Board as of the date indicated for each update below:  

October 16, 2008 - "Identity Theft", "Academic Competetiveness and National SMART Grant Definitions", "Common Review Initiative Update".

September 18, 2008 - "NSLDS Reporting and Frequency", "Defining Enrollment Status", Stafford Annual and Aggregate Loan Limit Increases for Undergraduate Students", Special Stafford Aggregate Loan Limits for Graduate and Professional Health Profession Students", "FFELP Delivery to Transfer Students", "Ineligibility for Title IV Aid Due to Prior Default on a Title IV Loan", "Eligibility Amounts for PLUS Loans", "Delivering Loan Funds", and "Diligent Effort".
